Most people notice the hula hoops in my office. They represent the work around boundaries that happens there. There’s a bunch of them because every person in a healthy family should have their own boundaries. Learning about boundaries is one of the places we start in my work. Why? Because, firstly, boundaries help you determine what’s yours to work on and what is the rest of the world’s work. Boundaries can protect us. And help define us. They are an important part of relationships and communication. And I love helping people (families, couples or individuals) learn how to acquire and understand how boundaries are influencing their every day experience.
