FAQ
Where is your office?
My office is in Mission Viejo, California, around the corner from the Kaleidoscope Mall.
Our address is:
27285 Las Ramblas, Suite 232
Mission Viejo, CA 92691
The buildings are called The Courtyards.
IMPORTANT: There are two Courtyard buildings. We are located in the back Courtyard, furthest from the street. The simplest way to access our Courtyard is to drive to the rear of the parking lot and enter from there.
What is your availability?
I see clients Tuesday through Friday. There are evening hours on Wednesday and Thursday.
How often should we meet?
My clients typically see me weekly, allowing them to receive consistent support and guidance, especially during the early stages of acquiring new perspectives and skills. Later, the space between sessions can be stretched out, allowing you to use and practice what you’ve learned.
If I live in California, can I work with you?
Absolutely, yes! Even before COVID, I worked with people around California remotely. Today, I see clients both in my office and remotely.
I actually prefer in-person meetings, but clients have been successful with both methods.
I don’t live in California. Can you still see me?
Unfortunately, no. California LMFT licenses only allow us to practice with clients who are located in California.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask my clients to cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance, so I have an opportunity to fill the spot. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full session fee will be charged. Of course, exceptions are made for emergencies or illness.
Do you take insurance?
I don’t work directly with insurance companies. If your insurance company does out-of-network reimbursement, I can prepare a superbill for you to submit to them.
What is your favorite food?
Home being Ocean City, New Jersey, Pork Roll and Cheesesteaks would be high on my list. Not so much of that around San Clemente, so I’ll have to go with Mexican food of all types.
Do you have a dog?
Of course! Leanne and I have an amazing creature named Charlee (girl). A beautiful Australian Shepherd. And like most Aussies she likes to surf. Here she’s being dropped in on by a hodad on a pink board.

What makes you stand out and unique?
The fact that I spent 20 years in the business world before becoming a therapist helps me relate to the challenges in people’s lives more effectively.
The fact that I have now lived 20 years in the therapeutic worldview gives me a fantastic perspective to add to the first perspective.
And apparently, my clients find me humorous at the right times, which helps balance out those difficult moments that can arise when facing life’s challenges.
